It
can be so frustrating to play ball when you have fine and/or
gross motor issues. Most balls are too hard, heavy and will
roll away if you donít catch it. We adapted a beach ball
to teach our daughter how to throw, kick and catch a ball.
Ingredients:
A
Beach Ball
Packing
Peanuts
Duct
Tape (or packing tape)
Directions:
Blow
up the beach ball. Cut a hole, approximately 3" in length.
Insert packing peanuts until the beach ball is filled and
tape closed.
Paper Dolls can be so much fun as
long as their garments stay on. Sorry to say, they don't always
hang on. This adaptation
will create a Paper Doll with stay put clothing!
Ingredients:
Paper Dolls (Laminating the paper dolls is suggested)
Hook and Loop Tape
Directions:
Attach the Hook and Loop Tape on the back of the paper doll.
Apply the other side of the Hook and Loop Tape on the garments.
Match the Hook and Loop Tape and there you have it...the garment
will come off when you want it to.
Variations:
Instead of Hook and Loop Tape use magnets, and play on a
metal cookie sheet.
