A
chair rail attached to most (if not all of your walls)
throughout your house will assist someone with low vision.
They can feel the rail to guide them.
Ingredients:
Chair
Railing
Nails
Level
Directions:
Measure
the height you want the chair rail to be. Using a level,
attach the chair rail to the wall with nails.
NOTE: (Chair rails
should not be used to approach the stairs and/or guide down
the stairs.)
When jeans are the pants of choice and buttoning
is a challenge, try this simple modification.
Ingredients:
Bungee Cord Shoelaces
Jeans
Directions:
Remove button from jeans. In place of the button, carefully
construct a gap. Basically, your intention is to create a
buttonhole similar to the existing one. Place the Bungee
Cord Shoelace through both sides of the jeans to make a closure.
